Diary entry


January 3

Last night the babies only cried twice. We've slept well.

We'd never been in the "Tres Aguas" supermarket in Alcorcón but I liked it.

After this busy day with my nieces we needed to go out. Finally, we've gone to an Italian restaurant and we hadn't any problem with the fight between urban tribes. The news has exaggerated much what happened. Good night!

    I agree with you about the news, they sometimes are more exaggerated but in TV, we can watch a terrible figth.

  • I also have a very good friend who lives in San Jose de Valderas (next to Alcorcon), and he also hasn´t told me anything about those problems. There is an area in Alcorcon where teenagers go every weekend to party. Every week there are problems and fights there with drunken people so, as you, I don´t understand why for TV is so special a fight with foreign people involved.

    I agree with you, the mass media need to inflate the news. I think that they do it because the people like a lot crime and accident reports. For this reason they turn into a big problem, things that only are little incidents.
